4 ay sonra ilk oyun, Muhabir yeniden evinde. 14 Ekim'e kadar sürecek oyunlar serisi başladı. Hazırlıklar tamamlandı, fazla aksilik yaşanmadan oyun bitti. Ubuntu'nun yeni sürümünün ekran seçenekleri değiştiği için projeksiyon görüntüsü ile ilgili ufak bir sorun oldu. Akşamki oyunda hiçbir sorun yaşanmadı.

15.00'deki oyundan sonra 12 Eylül Mektupları sergisi kapsamında Zeynep Tanbay'n dans gösterisi ve mektupların bir çok kadın tarafından okuması yapıldı.

First play after 4 months, Reporter as home again. The series of plays which will last until 14^th has started. There wasn't much problems in the play. Because of the new release of Ubuntu a tiny problem occured about the screen settings. There wasn't any problem at night's play

After the at 15.00 play, as part of the 12 September Letters Exhibition, Zeynep Tanbay's short dance performance and letter readings took place.

39. Oyun - 39th Play - Viyana

9 Haziran 2009, Pazartesi, 20.00 – brut im Künstlerhaus, Viyana, Avusturya

Akşamki oyuna kadar Viyana'da dolaşan ekip oyun için üç saat önceden salona girdi. Bugünün özel olayı Theater des Augenblinks'in ziyaret edilmesiydi. Sanat Yönetmenliğini Gül Gürses'in yaptığı bu tiyatroda çağdaş gösteri sanatlarının önemli temsilcileri 20 yıldan fazla süredir atölye çalışmaları ve gösteriler yapıyor. Tiyatro, Avusturya devletinin bağımsız sanat kurumlarını destekleme konusunda yaptığı mevzuat değişikliği yüzünden artık destek alamayacak. Bu yüzden de yolculuğuna devam etmeyecek. Mustafa Avkıran 90'ların başında 1,5 yıl bu tiyatroda çalışmış. Uzun süreli ilk yurtdışı deneyimini bu tiyatroda edinmiş.

Akşamki oyunda bir önceki gece olduğu gibi Memet Ali Alabora yine ilk 40 dakikayı İngilizce oynadı. Oyun bir önceki gece gibi doluydu. Oyundan sonra yapılan seyirci söyleşisine çok fazla seyirci kalmamasına rağmen bir saate yakın keyifli bir sohbet yapıldı.

Ertesi gün ekip küçük bir Viyana turu yaptıktan sonra, Türkiye'ye döndü.

9 June 2009, Monday, 20.00 – brut im Künstlerhaus, Vienna, Austria

The team roamed in Vienna until the play and arrived to the venue three hours before the play. The special visit of the day was to Theater des Augenblinks. The leading figures in contemporary performing arts have been performing and making workshops in this theatre for the last 20 years. Gül Gürses is the artistic director. Because of the change in the laws of the Austrian government on financing independent arts organizations, the venue will no longer be supported. So it is decided to close the venue. In the beginning of 90's, Mustafa Avkıran worked in this theatre for 1,5 years, he had his first long experience abroad.

Memet Ali Alabora again played the first 40 minutes in English. It was almost full. Even though, few audience stayed for the artist-talk, it was a warm conversation lasted for nearly an hour.

The team turned back to Turkey after a Vienna tour.

38. Oyun - 38th Play - Viyana

Ekip 7 Haziran Pazar günü Viyana'ya vardı. Bu turne Muhabir'in en az kişi ile yolculuk yaptığı turne oldu. Ekipte sadece Mustafa Avkıran, Memet Ali Alabora ve oyunun ışık tasarımcısı Yüksel Aymaz vardı. Avkıran ve Alabora sabah, Aymaz da akşam geldi. İlk gün malzemenin sahneye bırakılması ve ertesi günün ışık değerlendirmesinin, oradaki teknik ekiple yapılması ile geçti. İlk günün özel olaylarından biri Viyana'nın ünlü kafesi Café Hawelka'nın ziyaret edilmesiydi. Avkıran ve Alabora, festivalin Türkiye'deki ortağı İKSV'nin yurtdışı projeler sorumlusu Deniz Ova'yla birlikte Viyana'nın en eski kafesinde, kaffee melange içti. Kafenin sahibi Leopold Hawelka 90 yaşına yakın belki de geçmiş ve hala hergün kafeye geliyor.

Muhabir dünyanın en bilinen festivallerinden Wiener Festwochen (Viyana Festivali)'e katılmak için Viyana'ya geldi. Ertesi gün ekip sabahtan başlayarak, mekanda hazırlık yaptı. Önce malzemeler açıldı ve ışık kurulumu yapıldı, sonrasında prova alındı. brut im Künstlerhaus, eski bir müzenin bir bölümü dönüştürülerek yapılmış bir çağdaş gösteri sanatları mekanı. Genişliği ve derinliği fazla değil ama yüksekliği çok elverişli. Hazırlık oyundan hemen önce bitti. Salon neredeyse doluydu. Memet Ali Alabora yurtdışında oynanan bir oyunda ilk kez seyirciye üç farklı dilde (Türkçe, Almanca, İngilizce) kaç kişinin o dili anladığını sordu. Seyircilerin verdiği cevaba göre de oyunun ilk 40 dakikasını İngilizce oynadı. Aynı zamanda Almanca üstyazı da vardı. Yüzde sekseni Avusturyalı olan seyirciler oyunu samimi bir şekilde izlediler. Seyirci oyun boyunca çok katılımcıydı.

Oyundan sonra Mustafa Avkıran ve Memet Ali Alabora, aynı festival kapsamında, çok yakındaki brut im Konzerthaus'da oynanan, Oyun Deposu'nun “Çirkin İnsan Yavrusu”nu izlemeye gitti. O oyunda da salon doluydu. Oyunların sonunda Muhabir'in oynandığı salonun fuayesinde festival, sanatçılar için küçük bir resepsiyon verdi.

8 June 2009, Monday, 20.00 – brut im Künstlerhaus, Vienna, Austria

The team arrived in Vienna on Sunday, 7^th of June. This was the tour which Reporter traveled with fewest people. There was only Mustafa Avkiran, Memet Ali Alabora and the lighting designer Yüksel Aymaz in the team. Avkıran and Alabora arrived in the morning, Aymaz at night. The first day, equipments were left to the venue and the lighting set-up were discussed with the technical team of the venue. The special thing of the day was the visit to Café Hawelka. Together with Deniz Ova, international projects responsible of IKSV (Istanbul Culture and Arts Foundation), Avkıran and Alabora had kaffee melange in Vienna's famous, Café Hawelka. The owner of the café, Leopold Hawelka is nearly 90, maybe over. He visits his shop everyday. He was there.

Reporter was in Vienna to perform as part of the Wiener Festwochen (Vienna Festival), which is one of the best known festivals of the world. Next day, the team made the set-up beginning from the morning. First the equipments were unpacked then the lighting was prepared and rehearsal was made. brut in Künstlerhaus is a contemporary performing arts venue which was transformed from a part of an old museum. The width and depth is not much but the height is very efficient. The set-up ended just before the play. The seats were almost full. For the first time in a play performed abroad, Memet Ali Alabora asked the audience in three different languages (Turkish, German, English) about how many people understands each language. According to the answers, he performed the first 40 minutes in English. There were also German surtitles. Eighty percent of the audience were Austrians. The audience watch the play sincerely and attended in most parts.

Mustafa Avkıan and Memet Ali Alabora went to watch “The Ugly Human” by Play Depot from Turkey. The play was also being performed in the same festival in brut im Künstlerhaus which was very near. The seats were also full. The festival gave a little reception for artists in the foyer of the venue where Reporter was performed.

37. Oyun - 37th Play - İstanbul

Oyun TEMPS D'IMAGES festivali kapsamında oynandı. TEMPS D'IMAGES, 2002 yılında Fransız televizyon kanalı ARTE ve La Ferme Du Buission tarafından başlatılan ve gösteri sanatları ve imaj arasındaki ilişkiye odaklanarak yeni sanatsal formlar ve işbirlikleri yaratmayı hedefleyen disiplinler arası bir proje. Proje kapsamında 10 ülkeden 11 kültür kurumu festival gerçekleştiriyor. Bu festival de garajistanbul'un gerçekleştirdiği TEMPS D'IMAGES. TEMPS D'IMAGES aynı zamanda Muhabir'in ortak yapımcılarından. Oyun Estonya, Talinn'de de bu festival kapsamında sergilenmişti.

Salonun yarıdan fazlası doluydu. Seyirciler arasında Memet Ali Alabora'nın oyunda anlattığı Yalova'daki Engin Sitesi'nden arkadaşları vardı. Ayrıca TEMPS D'IMAGES ağındaki kurumların çoğunun temsilcisi de vardı. Onlar için oyun İngilizce üst yazı ile oynandı. Oyundan sonra 20'ye yakın izleyici bekliyordu ve hem röportaj verdiler, hem de Memet Ali Alabora ile sohbet ettiler.

Oyundan sonra tüm ekip bir taraftan, ertesi gün Türkiye prömiyerini yapacak olan Dar-ül Love'ın hazırlıklarına başladı, diğer taraftan ertesi gün Viyana'ya gidecek olan Muhabir için malzemeleri paketledi.

17 June 2009, Saturday, 21.30 – garajistanbul, Istanbul, Turkey

The play was performed as part of the TEMPS D'IMAGES festival. TEMPS D’IMAGES is a project which started in 2002 as a joint endeavor undertaken by the French television station ARTE together with La Ferme Du Buission, seeking to create new artistic forms and partnerships by focusing upon the relationship between performance arts and images. 11 cultural institutions from 10 European countries are making their own festivals. This was garajistanbul's TEMPS D'IMAGES. TEMPS D'IMAGES is also one of the co-producer of Reporter. The play was also performed in Estonia, Talinn, as part of the same festival.

The audience was more than the half. There were friends of Memet Ali Alabora from Engin Resort in Yalova which he tells the stories of in the play. There were also representatives from the cultural institutions of TEMPS D'IMAGES network. The play was performed with English surtitles for them. Nearly 20 audiences were waiting after the play, they gave interviews and had conversation with Memet Ali Alabora.

All the team worked for the set-up of Dar-ül Love, which was about to do its premiere the other day, together with the packing of Reporter’s materials which will travel to Vienna the other day.

36. Oyun - 36th Play - İstanbul

85 gün 23 oyun sonra Muhabir yeniden garajistanbul'da. Bu oyun özel bir gösterimdi, seyirciye duyurulmadı. Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı'ndan alınan destek kapsamında Miili Eğitim Müdürlüğü'ne oynanması gereken ücretsiz bir oyun olarak sergilendi. Oyuna katılım çok fazla değildi. Yetiştirme yurdundan öğrenciler ve onların gönüllü velileri geldiler.

Hazırlık biraz uzun sürdü. Bunca zaman sonra oyun evinde oynanıyor olmasına rağmen birçok aksilik yaşandı. Neyse ki bu aksilikler gece oynanan oyunda telafi edildi.

After 85 days ans 23 plays, Reporter is back in garajistanbul. This was a closed play for the audience. As part of the financial support from Ministry of Culture and Tourism, it was obligatory to play for the Directory of National Education. There wasn't many audience. The audience was mostly consisted of students from an orphanage and their tutors. The set-up took a lot of time. Although the play was being performed after many time at the house, there was a lot of setbacks. But they were compensated in the following play.

35 Oyun - 35st Play - Diyarbakır

29 Mayıs 2009, Cuma, 19.00 – Diyarbakır Devlet Tiyatrosu, Diyarbakır, Türkiye

Ekip Diyarbakır'a 28 Mayıs sabahı vardı. Kervansaray Otel'e yerleştikten sonra, Diyarbakır'da gezmek için dışarı çıktı. Akşam festival kapsamında gerçekleşen konsere gitti. Ertesi sabah ekip Devlet Tiyatrosu Sahnesi'ne geçti ve hazırlıklara başladı. Öğlen olmadan Memet Ali Alabora da ekibe katıldı. Alabora, Goethe Institut ve Anadolu Kültür oraklığı ile düzenlenen, Avrupa Birliği destekli bir proje kapsamında Şanlıurfa'daydı ve oradan Diyarbakır'a geldi. Şanlıurfa'daki etkinlikte bir Alman (Hans-Ulrich Treichel) ve bir Avusturya'lı (Reneta Welsh) yazarla beraber onların eserlerinden Türkçe bölümleri seyircileri okudu.

Alabora'nın da ekibe katılmasıyla hazırlıklar devam etti. Ekip öğlen bir kolejin provası olduğu için sahneyi onlara bıraktı ve öğle yemeği için Diyarbakır'ın ünlü kaburgacısı Selim Amca'nın yolunu tuttu. Selim Amca'nın birçok şubesi var ve şubelerin hepsinde oğullarından biri duruyor. Saatlerce tencerede pişen içi pirinç dolu kuzu kaburgası dolmalarının sırrını bir tek onlar biliyor.

Yemekten sonra sahneye geçildi ve hazırlıklara devam edildi. Diyarbakır Devlet Tiyatrosu 20. yılını kutuluyor. Sahne çok katlı bir binanın içine inşa edilmiş. Malzeme taşımak oldukça zor. Çok büyük bir sahne değil. Derinliği az ama sofita yüksekliği yeterli. Bunların dışında Devlet Tiyatroları'nda bulunan teknik kapasite burada da mevcut.

Oyun 19.00'da başladı. 9. Diyarbakır Kültür ve Sanat Festivali (9. Mîhrîcana Çand û Hunerê ya Diyarbekirê) kapsamında oynanan oyunla aynı saatte başka festival etkinlikleri de olduğu için katılımın olması gerekenden daha az olduğunu söylediler. Yine de salonun dörtte üçü doluydu. İlgiyle izleyen, gülerek, alkışlayarak ve derin sessizliklere oyuna katılan bir izleyici vardı. Oyunun içinde Güneydoğu'da yaşananlarla ilgili olayların anlatıldığı bölümlerde salondaki ağırlık hissedilebiliyordu. Oyundan sonra ağlayarak salondan çıkan seyirciler vardı. Oyun sonrası ekibin yaptığı röportajlarda kendi hikayelerini paylaşan Diyarbakırlılar etkileyici hikayeler anlattılar.

Ekip oyundan sonra yemeğe gitti. Yemekten sonra ekibin bir kısmını Diyarbakır İnsan Hakları Derneği Başkanı Muharrem Erbey, Ben u Sen Meyhanesine götürdü. Diyarbakırlı yazarların, şairlerin uğrak yeri olan bu salaş meyhanedeki samimi sohbetin ardından Kervansaray Otel'e geçildi. Kervansaray Otel gerçek bir kervansaray. 1500'lerin sonunda İpek Yolu kervanlarının konaklaması için yapılmış büyük bir yapı. 500 yıldır Diyarbakır'a dışarıdan gelenlerin konaklaması için hizmet veriyor.

29 May 2009, Firday, 19.00 – Diyarbakır State Theatre, Diyarbakır, Turkey

The team arrived in Diyarbakır on the 28th. After settling in Kervensaray Hotel, they went for a tour around the city. At night they went to the concert which was part of the festival. The next morning, they went to the State Theatre for set-up. Before noon, Alabora attended the team. Alabora was in Şanlıurfa for an event which was organized by Goethe Institut and Anadolu Culture, funded by the EU. During the event he read parts in Turkish from two writers' works , one from Germany (Hans-Ulrich Treichel) and the other from Austria (Reneta Welsh), together with them.

After Alabora's arrival the set-up went on. Because of a rehearsal of students from a college, the team left the stage for a while and went to have lunch in the famous Selim Amca Restaurant of Diyarbakır. Selim Amca has nearly five branches around the country and in every branch is directed by a son of Selim Amca. Only the sons know the secret of rice stuffed lamb ribs which are cooked for hours.

After the lunch they turned back to the stage and continued the set-up. Diyarbakır State Theatre is celebrating its 20th year. The stage is build in a multi-storey building. Loading the equipments in is hard. It doesn't have big stage. There isn't much depth but the height of the satge is efficient. Apart from these it has the technical capacity of State Theatre Stages.

The play started at 19.00. They said that the number of the audience was less than expected, because there was another event at the same time which was also a part of the 9th Diyarbakır Culture and Art Festival ( 9. Mîhrîcana Çand û Hunerê ya Diyarbekirê ). But three fourth of the venue was full. The audience attended the play by laughing, applauding and sometimes with deep silences. The heavy atmosphere could be felt in the venue while the stories from Southeast where being told in the play. There were audience who left the hall crying after the play. Some of the audience who shared their stories in the interviews told touching stories.

The team went to a dinner after the play. After the dinner Head of Diyarbakır Human Rights Association, Muharrem Erbey took some members of the team to Ben u Sen Restaurant, which is a meeting point for writers, poets from Diyarbakır. Then they went to the hotel. Kervensaray Hotel is a big building which was built at the end of 1500's for the caravans traveling in the Silk Road. It has been serving to the people who comes to Diyarbakır for 500 years.

34 Oyun - 34th Play - Antalya

9 Mayıs 2009, Cumartesi, 20.30 – Devlet Tiyatroları Haşim İşcan Sahnesi, Antalya, Türkiye

Ekip sabah erken kalkmak zorunda olmamanın verdiği rahatlıkla öğlene kadar Ninova Pansiyon'un güzel bahçesinde zaman geçirdi. Bu sırada turnenin en güzel olaylarından biri yaşandı. Kahvaltıda her masaya gidip ısrarla miyavlayan ve bir türlü yüz bulamayan bir kedi doğurmaya başladı. Ekip, altına gazete kağıtları serdi ve doğumu kolaylaştırmaya çalıştı. Onlar pansiyonu terk edene kadar üç yavru doğmuştu. Daha sonradan iki yavrunun daha doğduğunu ve doğumun tamamen sorunsuz geçtiğini gece gelince öğrendiler.

Pansiyondan ayrılan ekip Antalya'nın ünlü tahinli piyazı ve şiş köftesini yemek için 5. Sokak'a gitti. Antalya'daki 5.Sokak'ın garajistanbul ekibi için ayrı bir önemi var. garajistanbul'un fikir annesi ve babası Övül Avkıran ve Mustafa Avkıran'ın 1995 yılında kurdukları ve Türkiye'de çağdaş gösteri sanatlarının yapıtaşlarından olan 5.Sokak Tiyatrosu bu sokaktaki bir garajda kurulmuş ve adını da sokaktan almış. Bugün 5. Sokak Tiyatrosu'nun mekanı mefruşatçı olarak hizmet veriyor. Ekip mekanı gezip, garajistanbul'un tarihinde de bir yolculuk yapmış oldu. Muhabir'İn yapımcısı olan “10+” 5. Sokak Tiyatrosu'nun bugünkü ismi. 5. Sokak'taki köftecide köfte, piyaz yedikten sonra oyuna kadar vakit geçirildi.

Oyunda beklenenden daha az izleyici vardı. Anadolu turnesinin en zayıf seyircisi Antalya'da görülmüş oldu. Oyundan sonra fuayede bekleyen liseli tiyatrocular ve seyirciler Memet Ali Alabora ile tanışıp, fotoğraf çektirdiler.

Bir ay önce başlayan Muhabir Anadolu'da turnesi Antalya ile son bulmuş oldu. Ekip ertesi gün uçakla İstanbul'a döndü.

9 May 2009, Saturday, 20.30 – State Theatre Haşim İşcan Stage, Antalya, Turkey

The team spent a free time in Ninova Pension's beatiful garden until noon with the comfort of not obliged to wake up early in the morning. Meanwhile they have experienced one of the most attractive moment during the whole tour. The cat who couldn't find the attention she was looking for from all the tables during the breakfast started give birth. The team laid newspapers underneath the mother and tried to help her. Three kittens were born before they left the pension. They learned at night that two others were born and there weren't any problem during or after birth.

The team who left the pension, went to 5^th Street to eat the famous “piyaz” (bean salad) and “sish kofte” (meatballs) of Antalya. 5^th Street in Antalya has a unique importance for garajistanbul team. Övül Avkıran and Mustafa Avkıran, founders of garajistanbul, founded 5^th Street Theatre in 1995 which was a milestone in Turkish contemporary performing arts in this street in a garage. It took the name from the street. Today the venue serves as a curtain seller. By visiting the venue the team also had a small journey to garajistanbul's history. The producer of Reporter “10+” is the name of 5^th Street Theatre today. They have spent time until the play after eating kofte and piyaz at the restaurant in 5^th Street.

There were less audience then expected. The weakest audience was in Antalya. Amateur actors from high school and some of the audience met Memet Ali Alabora and took pictures with him after the play.

Reporter in Anatolia tour which began a month ago ended in Antalya. The team traveled back to Istanbul the other day by plane.

33 Oyun - 33rd Play - Antalya

4 saate yakın bir yolculuktan sonra Antalya'ya varıldı. Turnenin bu yolculuğundaki minibüs biraz daha küçük olduğundan malzeme ve ekip anca sığabildi. Ekip kaleiçindeki Ninova Pansiyon'a yerleşti. Burası eski bir konaktan dönüştürülmüş, çok şirin bir pansiyon.

Oradan sahneye geçildi ve hazırlıklara başlandı. Devlet Tiyatroları'nın Haşim İşcan Sahnesi küçük bir sahne ama gerek olanakları, gerekse teknik ekibinin çalışmasıyla son derece profesyonel bir yer. Sahnenin üst katında opera balenin büyük sahnesi var.

Akşamki oyunda seyirci çok azdı. Bütün turnenin en az seyircisi bu oyunda idi.

Oyunda yenen tavuk yüzünden ekibin canı uzun zamandır tavuk çevirme çekiyordu. Gökhan Avkıran ekibi Antalya'nın en iyi tavukçusu olduğunu söylediği “Parlak”a götürdü. Parlak'ın tavuk çevirmesi harikaydı.

Ertesi gün yine Antalya'da oynayacak olmanın rahatlığı ile ekip Ninova Pansiyon'a gitti.

8 May 2009, Friday, 20.30 – State Theatre Haşim İşcan Stage, Antalya, Turkey

After a 4 hour journey the team arrived in Antalya. The minibus in this journey was a little smaller than the others, so the team and the equipments hardly fitted in. They have settled in Ninova Pension in the castle. This is a very sweet pension which was transformed from an old house.

Then they moved to the stage and the set-up has started. Haşim İşcan Stage of the State Theatre is a small venue, but with its technical capacity and staff, it is a professional one. Upstairs is the big hall of State Opera and Ballet.

There was a very few audience at the play. It was the fewest of all the tour. The team wanted roasted chicken for a long time because of the chicken eaten in the play. Gökhan Avkıran took them to “Parlak” which he said is the best place to eat chicken in Antalya. The chicken was really delicious.

With the relaxation of playing in the same city the other day, they went to Nİnova Pension.

32 Oyun - 32nd Play- Denizli

7 Mayıs 2009, Perşembe, 21.00 – Pamukkale Üniversitesi Konferans Salonu, Denizli, Türkiye

Sabah Muğla'dan yola çıkan ekip çok uzun olmayan bir yolculuktan sonra Denizli'ye vardı. Muğla Belediyesi'nin sağladığı araçla Pamukkale Üniversitesi'ne gelindi ve eşyalar bırakıldı. Denizli'nin yöresel yemeği olan tandır yendikten sonra saat 16.00'da oyunun oynanacağı salonda Üniversite'nin düzenlediği “Kariyer Günleri” kapsamında Memet Ali Alabora'nın yapacağı söyleşi için bütün ekip salona geçti. Söyleşiye öğrencilerin yoğun bir katılımı vardı. Söyleşiye Alabora'nın koyduğu başlık “Herşey karıyer mi?”ydi. Söyleşide Alabora kendi deneyimlerinden yola çıkarak öğrencilerle, kararlarını kariyerist bir tavırla vermemeleri gerektiği üzerine bir sohbet yaptı.

Söyleşiden hemen sonra oyun aynı salonda oynanacağı için hazırlıklara başlandı. Bu arada Alabora Üniversite'ye yakın bir yerde toplanmış olan Çallı yöneticilerin, idarecilerin ve iş adamların Çal'ın sorunlarını konuştukları bir toplantıya kısa bir süreliğine uğradı.

Oyunda beklenenden daha çok seyirci vardı. Bunun önemli nedenlerinden biri de çoğu öğrencinin oyundan, söyleşide haberdar olmasıydı. Oyundan sonra öğrencilerin büyük bir bölümü fuayede Alabora ile sohbet etmek için beklediler. Okulda sorunlar yaşayan bir tiyatro topluluğundan, daha önce Eve Dönüş filmi için gazetede yayınlanmış bir makale yazan bir gence, öğretmen adaylarından, Anadolu'nun çeşitli yerlerinden öğrencilerin sorunlarına kadar bir çok konuda sohbet edildi.

Akşam'ı Denizli'de geçiren ekip yoğunluktan Pamukkale'yi göremeden şehirden ayrıldı.

7 May 2009, Thursday, 21.00 – Pamukkale University Conference Hall, Denizli, Turkey

Departing from Muğla, the team arrived in Denizli after a pretty short journey. With the minibus provided by Muğla Municipality, they arrived at Pamukkale University and left the equipments. After having eaten the traditional meal of Denizli, “tandır” (lamp meat cooked in the oven) they moved to the hall which the play will be performed. Memet Ali Alabora had a conference in the same venue at 16.00 as part of the “Career Days” organized by the university. A great amount of students attended the conference. The title named by Alabora was “Is career everything?” During the conference, Alabora pointing his own experiences, discussed with the students about not giving all their decisions according to a careerist manner.

After the conference the set-up has started immediately, because the play was on the same stage. At the same time Alabora attended for a short while to a meeting of local administrators, businessman from Çal (a town in Denizli) where they were about to discuss the problems of the town.

There were more audience than expected. One of the main reason was that, most of the students heard the play during the conference. Many of the students waited Alabora to have a conversation at the foyer after the play. From a theatre group who had problems in the school, to a young person who wrote an article and published it in a newspaper on Alabora'a movie “Homecoming”, from students to become teachers, to the problems of young students from various parts of Anatolia, conversations on many subjects were made.

The team spent the night in Denizli and without seeing Pamukkale they had to live the city.

31 Oyun - 31st Play - Muğla

5 Mayıs 2009, Salı, 20.30 –Gazi Mustafa Kemal Kültür Merkezi, Muğla, Türkiye

Ekip sabah erkenden İzmir'de, Muğla Belediyesi'nin gönderdiği araç ve Kültür Merkezi'nin sanat programını yöneten ekiple buluştu ve Muğla'ya doğru yola çıktı. Muğla Belediye Başkanı Osman Gürün, geçen dönem yaptırdığı Kültür Merkezi'nin yönetimini İzmir'deki “advice” ve “no one” ajanslarının oluşturduğu bir konsorsiyuma vermiş. Anadolu'daki kültür merkezlerinde görülen en büyük eksik olan yönetim sorununa bu modelle bir çözüm getirilmiş. Kültür Merkezi'nin ana sahnesi birkaç teknik eksiklik dışında neredeyse dünya çapında. Dekoru sahneye taşıyacak bir yer yok. Bunun için büyük dekorları taşımak hayli zor. Bir tane ışık köprüsü olması da dezavantaj. Kültür Merkezi'nin dışardan görünüşü ve fuayesi oldukça etkileyici. Şehir dışından gelip bu boyutta bir kültür merkezini görenlerin çoğu şaşırıyor.

Ekip sahneye varır varmaz hazırlıklara başladı. Kendi perdelerini kullanmak yerine sahnedeki büyük perdeyi ve ona görüntüyü yansıtan çok güçlü projeksiyonu kullanmaya karar verdiler. Kültür Merkezi'ndeki gösterileri belediye kendi davet edip, tanıtım ve bilet satışı kendileri üstleniyorlar. Şehrin çoğu yerine yerleştirilmiş büyük boydaki panolarda “Muhabir”in afişleri vardı. 400'e yakın seyircini geldiği özel bir oyun oldu. Memet Ali Alabora daha önce Muğlalıların oynadığı “Dondurmam Gaymak” filminin oyuncu eğitmenliğini yaptığı için Muğlalar onu yakından tanıyorlar. Filmde rol alan çoğu kişi onu izlemeye gelmişti. Oyunun başlangıcında seyirciyi karşılayan ve onlara şarap ikram eden Alabora'yı gören film oyuncuları, öpmek, sarılmak için etrafını sardılar. Seyircinin bu yoğun ilgisinden sonra oyun başladı. Oyunun başlangıcındaki hava diğer oyunlardan biraz daha farklıydı. Tanıdık birini seyretmenin ve buna bağlı beklentilerin enerjisi salonda hissediliyordu. Oyun ilerledikçe seyircinin ilgisi de farklılaştı. Oyunun sonuna doğru salondaki genel hava ağırlaşmış, seyirciyi sessizlik kaplamıştı. Oyun bittiğinde en erken alkışlayan seyirci Muğla seyircisi oldu. Hatta oyun bitmeden alkış başladı. Oyun sonunda da filmin başrol oyuncularından Gülnihal Demir sahneye çıkıp Alabora'ya çiçek verdi. Salondan sahneye karanfiller fırlatıldı.

Oyundan sonra ekip, yine film oyuncularından Saadettin Ünsal'ın işlettiği Süpüroğlu tesislerine gitti. Belediye Başkanı Osman Gürün'ün davet ettiği tüm ekip, kültür merkezinin yönetimini üstlenmiş ajans sahipleri, nevi şahsına münhasır karakteri ile Akçapınar muhtarı Arap Şükrü lakaplı Şükrü Arslan ve Memet Ali Alabora'ya sürpriz yaparak oyun için Muğla'ya gelen Dondurmam Gaymak'ın yönetmeni Yüksel Aksu ve filmin yapımcılarından Tankut Kılınç keyifli bir yemek yediler. Osman Gürün sıcaklığı, herkese yakınlığı ile çok özel bir kişilik. Muğlalıların da başkanlarını çok sevdiği belli oluyor.

Oradan otele giden ekip ertesi gün bütün turne boyunca geçirecekleri tek boş güne uyanmak için odalarına çekildi.

5 May 2009, Tuesday, 20.30 –Gazi Mustafa Kemal Culture Center, Muğla, Turkey

The team met with the minibus sent by Muğla Municipality and the members of administration who are responsible from the artistic direction of Culture Center. Osman Gürün,Mayor of Muğla, gave the administration of the Culture Center that he made built in his previous term, to a consortium of two agencies from Izmir; “advice” and “no one”. A solution is brought by this model to the major problem that is examined in the culture centers of Anatolia. Except a few technical defects, the main stage of the culture center is almost worldwide. There isn't any place to load in. It is really hard to carry big sets. The stage has only one light bridge. The foyer and the overall view of the building is impressing. Most of the people who come outside the city and see such a building are surprised.

The team immediately started to set up once they reached to the venue. They decided to use the huge screen and the strong projection of the house. Municipality invites the groups to perform in Culture Center; they make the publicity and the ticket sales. There were posters of Reporter all around the city in small billboards designed for the publicity of Culture Center.

It was a special play which nearly 400 audience have attended. People of Muğla know Memet Ali Alabora closely, because he worked as the acting coach of the movie “I Scream, Ice Cream” (a movie made with the people of Muğla who where not professional actors). Many people who played in the movie came to the play. To kiss and hug, they have surrounded Alabora who welcomes and offers wine to the audience in the beginning of the play. The atmosphere was a little different from the other plays. The overall energy of watching a person closely known and the expectations according to this were felt in the hall. As the play developed, the interest of the audience started to change. Before the end of the play, the feeling in the hall became tense and a silence covered all the audience. When the play was over, the audience of Muğla applauded earlier then all the previous plays' audiences. They have even started before the play was over. During the applause one of the leading actors of the movie Gülnihal Demir went on the stage and presented Alabora a bucket. The audience threw gloves to the stage.

After the play, the team went to Süpüroğlu, a restaurant which is owned by Saadettin Ünsal, who also played in the movie. Reporter team, the owners of the agencies who are responsible of the administration, with his unique character the representative of Akçapınar Village, Arab Şükrü nicknamed, Şükrü Arslan and Yüksel Aksu, director of “I Scream, Ice Cream” who came to see the play and made a surprise to his friend Memet Ali Alabora, together with one of the producers of the movie Tankut Kılınç, were the guests of Mayor Osman Gürün, Osman Gürün is a unique person with his sincerity to everyone. It is very obvious that the people of Muğla love their mayor.

The team who were going to wake up to the only spare day of all the tour went to their hotel.
